The wide disk in steam-bent solid beech contains a woven cane screen and characterize the desk with the brandís iconic elements, by linking the countertop with the base's bent element. The wide-mesh interweaving suggests that this element can be used for multiple applications, which makes it functional as well as aesthetic, enabling additional accessories and memos to be hung on the weave.
