Named after the epic poems of ancient times, GamFratesi’s Epic Table for GUBI is a sculptural design inspired by Greek columns and Roman architecture, defined by its monolithic form and strong material presence. Originally crafted in Italy from travertine, the table highlights the natural beauty, veining, and texture of stone, drawing references from historic landmarks such as the Colosseum and St. Peter’s Basilica, while combining simple geometric forms with classical elegance. Available in a range of stone colors and sizes, it can stand alone or be arranged in dynamic compositions, and has also evolved into versions in steel with a more industrial expression. Extending this iconic design outdoors, the Epic Outdoor Tables are made from durable quartzite, resistant to water and extreme temperatures, with the Botanic Green variant featuring striking black and gray veining and subtle quartz crystal details, offering a refined solution for both interior spaces and alfresco settings.
