Description
Paris Sofa is an elegant, curvaceous design by Elias Svedberg (1913–1987), reintroduced by Dusty Deco in 2023 with the approval of Svedberg’s descendants. Originally presented in 1937 for the Swedish pavilion at the World Exhibition in Paris, the sofa was part of an interior created by Svedberg together with designer and textile artist Astrid Sampe. It was later exhibited in Warsaw in 1938 and Malmö in 1939, becoming a notable example of Swedish Modern design. The sofa features a solid beech frame, layered springs, and high-quality foam that provide both stability and exceptional comfort. Available in luxurious upholstery options, including a deep-pile mohair cover and an abstract spray-painted chenille fabric, the Paris Sofa combines timeless elegance with a bold contemporary expression.
