Description

The award-winning Vester Chair is discretely elegant and understated without losing momentum. Developed and produced for the iconic Danish seaside hotel, Svinklov Badehotel, in collaboration with Nordic designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrom, the Vester Chair won the "Furniture of the Year" award at the Danish Design Awards 2020. A dining chair designed in a well-proportioned idiom, the Vester Chair combines beauty and elegance with function and comfort. A transverse brass rod at the back indicates where to pull out the chair. Legs continuing up into the backrest form a small hook for hanging a purse or small item. The chair's body in golden oiled 100% FSC-certified oak naturally contrasts the fine brass detailing. Introduce an extra soft touch of comfort to the Vester Chair with the Vester Chair Cushion in aniline Dunes leather from Sorensen Leather. The leather has a natural look and a velvety feel and has received the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Neoprene on the backs ensures the cushion stays in place.
